Discovering the culture and history of Pátzcuaro and the region can be a daunting task simply because there is so much of it.  Trying to see it all and understand enough to appreciate it can be overwhelming.  So if you are interested in seeing and learning more about the region, including visiting pre-hispanic local ruins, visiting the local towns dedicated to distinct and unique handmade crafts, and even taking a short trip to one of the monarch butterfly sanctuaries, then you'll want a reliable and experienced guide.

  • Paracho - famous for its internationally acclaimed quality handmade guitars.
  • Cuanajo - famous for its incredible handcrafted wooden furniture.
  • Santa Fé de la Laguna - known for its ceramics , especially beautiful black-glazed products.
