We walk a lot, both because we enjoy it and to keep in shape, so were happy with our locat1on. But the Intrawest is a large complex that sort of cascades down the hillside and has a system of narrow drives. They provide golf carts to take their guests most of the way up or down. So only a few fitness nuts like us walked, and it was only about 5 minutes.
I would not have paid full price for the Intrawest, but if you can get a bargain rate from Apple it is just fantastic. We are already talking about what we will do next year if we don't get the bargain rate. I think we would choose the Catalina, but there are many other lovely hotels and bungalows on La Ropa.
